The Problem
Next Level is a very succesful company which buys up land for other companies and builds them a warehouse on that land. For this they had been using their own internal software, which was outdated and had bad UX.
The challenge was to redesign the software they were using, keeping all the majors flows intact and improving them where there was a possibility to do so. For this I needed a comprehensive understanding of their entire business flow, which meant multiple sessions with key stakeholders.
After this we could get in to trimming the fat. My main focus was on information architecture, since the software is very data heavy, and the former version of it was not very good in presenting all of that information. This took a lot of wireframing, ideation and the testing of those ideas with the stakeholders.
Another thing I focused on was improving their visual indetity. This was not on the list of the things they asked for, but since I saw room for improvement I asked if I could do so, and got the green light.
Once we had a general outline of what everyone nevisioned the software to be, I could get to work.
What was delivered
In the end the clients were thrilled by the results of the work. They got a completely new, modern looking and feeling, software which would minimise their workload and let them complete their jobs better.
